Drop control overview

Drop Control is the page for a single drop. You can see every product on the drop and how much has been sold, stocked and produced. It is also where you change the drop's settings.

Opening Drop Control

  1. Go to Sales → Drops in the left menu.
  2. Click the drop name, or click the pencil icon on the drop's row.

When you create a new drop with Add new drop, Drop Control opens automatically after you click Create drop.

Header metrics

The top right of the page summarizes the drop:

  • Products: the number of products on the drop, with the number of SKUs below.
  • Orders: the number of approved orders on the drop, with the total quantity and value (in your base currency) below.

The Products table

The Products table lists every product attached to the drop. Each product row shows totals. Click a product to expand it into its colors, and click a color to expand it into its SKUs.

The columns are split into an Inventory group and a Production group. See Understanding the numbers in Drop Control for what each column means.

Grouping products

Use the Group by pills above the table to group products by Category or Supplier. Each group starts with a header row. Products without a category or supplier appear under No category or No supplier. Select None to remove grouping.

Grouping by supplier is useful when you plan production orders. You see everything you buy from one supplier together.

Filtering and sorting

  • Use the filters above the table to narrow the list, for example by category, season or tag.
  • Click a column header with a sort arrow to sort by it, for example Product, In order or In production.
  • Click the arrow icon next to a product name to open the product.
  • Click a supplier name to open the supplier.

Choosing supply sources

If you have more than one warehouse, a Supply source picker appears above the table. By default the numbers cover every location that customers can buy from on this drop. Select specific locations to see the numbers for those only.

Locations marked (outside location rules) are used by existing orders or production orders on the drop, but they are not normally sold from. They are not selected by default.

Bulk actions

Tick the checkboxes on product or color rows to select colors. Use the checkbox in the table header to select every product and color that matches your current filters. Then click Bulk actions to:

Drop settings

The sidebar on the right holds the drop's settings.

Card What it controls
Basic Name, sort order, who can buy (Active for brand, Active for agents, Active for customers), Archived, ordering period, delivery dates, and drop, ERP and filter codes.
Inventory availability How much of each product can be sold on the drop. See Inventory availability in Drop Control
Inventory allocation Whether orders on the drop get allocated stock, and how. See Inventory availability in Drop Control
Buying rules Extra rules for orders on the drop, such as a minimum order amount, assortments only, custom fields to apply, and which customer groups can buy.

Saving changes

Changes are not saved straight away. A panel appears at the bottom of the page with the number of unsaved changes.

  1. Make your changes in the sidebar or the Products table.
  2. Click Save now in the panel at the bottom of the page. Click Discard changes to undo them instead.

Sales goals and deliveries

  • The top of the page shows the progress of any sales goals that track this drop. To track a drop, add it to the drops filter of a sales goal, or click Create sales goal.
  • If Use deliveries is enabled in the Basic card, a Deliveries card appears where you manage the drop's deliveries.
