Upload an Excel or CSV file, match its columns to TRAEDE fields, and TRAEDE creates the orders. Use Simple excel import to create one order for one customer. Use Multiple orders excel import to create many orders for many customers from one file.
There's no template to download. Your file can use any column names in any order, because you match the columns on screen.
Importing one order (Simple excel import)
- Go to Sales → Orders and click Import.
- Select Simple excel import.
- Select the Customer. Check the invoice and delivery addresses.
- Choose how to Create orders as, and pick a Drop if your brand uses drops.
- Upload your file. Leave First row is header ticked if the first row holds column names.
- Match each column in your file to a TRAEDE field. SKU or EAN and Quantity are required.
- Click Create order.
Importing many orders (Multiple orders excel import)
Each row in the file says which customer and order it belongs to. Rows with the same order number become one order. The order number in your file only groups the rows: each order still gets a normal TRAEDE order number.
- Go to Sales → Orders and click Import.
- Select Multiple orders excel import.
- Choose how to Create orders as, and pick a Drop if your brand uses drops.
- Upload your file.
- Match the columns. Customer number, Order number, SKU or EAN and Quantity are required.
- Click Create order.

Formatting rules
-
Prices: write decimals with a dot, like
12.50. See the warning below. -
Dates: use day-month-year, like
01-10-2022. - Sheets: only the first sheet in an Excel file is read.
- Order-level values: delivery date, shipping cost, and payment terms must be the same on every row of an order.
Important: A price written with a comma, like
12,50, is ignored without a warning. The order gets the customer's normal price instead. Check your prices after importing if your file uses commas.
Some rows are skipped without a warning:
- rows with a quantity of zero or less
- in Multiple orders Excel import, rows with no customer number, order number or SKU/EAN
Fixing errors
Errors appear as pop-up messages. For imports above 100 lines, errors that happen while the orders are created arrive by email instead. Nothing is created until every error is fixed.
