How to assign a price list

Step 1: Open the price list

Navigate to:

Customers → Price lists → Select your price list

Step 2: Assign to a drop

In the Drop field, you can assign a specific drop (e.g. a seasonal collection).

  • If you select a drop, this price list will apply only when that drop is used when creating orders.

  • It will apply regardless of which customer is placing the order.

Step 3: Assign to a customer group

In the Customer groups field, you can assign the price list to specific customer segments.

  • If you assign only a customer group, the price list applies to all orders made by customers in that group, across any drop.

  • This is ideal for distributors, department stores, or other B2B partners with special pricing.

Step 4: Combine drop and customer group (optional)

You can also combine both:

  • Assign a drop and a customer group.

  • In this case, the price list will apply only when:

    • The customer belongs to the selected group AND

    • The order is made using the selected drop.

âś… This is useful for more targeted pricing strategies.

Overview of usage scenarios

Setup Applies to
Only drop selected All customers using that drop
Only customer group selected All orders from that customer group
Both drop and customer group Only that group and only when using the selected drop

Best practice

In most cases, assigning by customer group is the most common approach. For example:

  • You have a distributor with special pricing → Create a customer group for them and assign the price list.

  • You want to apply pre-order prices to a drop → Assign the drop directly in the price list.

That’s it! Your price list is now configured to apply based on the logic you’ve defined.
