A commission report calculates how much to pay an agent or agency for a period. It pulls in the invoices and credit notes where that agent is the primary agent, applies their commission policy, and shows the payout.
What you need before you start
- The agent (or agency) is linked to the customer, and marked as primary on the sales you want to commission.
- At least one Commission policies — rates, exclusions, and rules exists. You cannot create a report without one.
- You have chosen how commission is calculated: on payments or on invoice date. See Calculate commission using payments.
Important: Only the primary agent on an invoice or credit note gets commission. Changing the agent on a customer later does not move existing sales.
Where to find reports
Go to Reports → Commission. Open reports are on the Open tab. Closed reports are on the Closed tab and have a report number.
From there you create a report, review the lines, then close it. Closing finalizes the payout for that period.
