Skip fulfillment is a product setting for things you sell and invoice but never physically ship — services, gift cards, fees, donations, royalties, and similar non-physical items. Turn it on, and TRAEDE still bills the customer for the product, but keeps it out of picking, shipping, and stock entirely.

What changes when Skip fulfillment is on

| Shipping / picking | The product is automatically left out of shipments. Warehouse staff never see it when picking, and TRAEDE blocks anyone from manually shipping it. An order made up entirely of skip-fulfillment products can still auto-close, so it never gets stuck waiting on a shipment that will never happen. |
| Invoicing | The customer is still billed. Once a shipment for the rest of the order completes, the skip-fulfillment line is automatically added onto that invoice at its full quantity — billed, just never shipped. If nothing else on the order gets invoiced, the skip-fulfillment line isn't added either. |
| Stock | Stock is never reserved or deducted through the shipping process. The product is treated as outside the warehouse flow entirely. |
| Consolidated invoices | Skip-fulfillment lines are intentionally left off consolidated invoices. |
What happens when it's off
Off is the default. With Skip fulfillment off, the product behaves like a normal physical item: it goes through picking, shipping, stock deduction, and standard invoicing along with the rest of the order.
Skip fulfillment vs. No inventory
These are two separate settings. A product can have one without the other. Some skip-fulfillment products still track stock; some don't. Turning one on doesn't turn the other on automatically — check both if a product needs neither shipping nor stock tracking.
