When exporting data from TRAEDE, you may notice that some exports download immediately, while others are sent to your email. This article explains why that happens and what to expect.
Immediate vs. delayed exports
Small exports (e.g. a few orders or products):
These will download instantly in your browser when you click Export spreadsheet.Larger exports (e.g. hundreds of rows):
These may take longer to process. TRAEDE will generate the export in the background and send it to you via email once it's ready.
How to know if your export is being emailed
If your export is queued for email delivery, you will see a green bar at the bottom of the screen confirming that the export is being generated and sent to your inbox.
Note: The exact threshold for switching to email export varies depending on system load and data size. There’s no fixed rule, but the system will handle it automatically for you.
This behavior ensures a smooth experience, especially when handling large datasets. Keep an eye out for the confirmation bar and check your inbox for large export files.
