Access to the virtual showroom

  • Updated

Introduction

This article explains how to manage access to your virtual showroom in TRAEDE.
You will learn how the different access types work, who can enter your showroom, and how options such as public access, agent access, and customer access affect visibility and ordering permissions.

Access settings overview

You can manage all showroom access settings by navigating to:
Sales → Showrooms → More → Edit

Here, you will see all available access types for your selected showroom.

Public access

Public access allows anyone with the showroom link to enter the virtual showroom.

What public visitors can and cannot do

  • ✔ Can view the showroom

  • ✔ Can create a selection

  • ✔ Can submit store information and contact details

  • ✘ Cannot see prices

  • ✘ Cannot place orders

This option is useful when you want external partners (who are not created as customers in TRAEDE) to browse the collection.

Show recommendations

If this option is enabled, anyone who can access the showroom—including public visitors—will also be able to see your recommendations inside the showroom.

Agent access

When this option is active, all agents in TRAEDE will automatically gain access to the showroom.

This is ideal when you want your sales team to work with the showroom during selling season.

Customer access

If enabled, all customers created in TRAEDE will have access to the showroom.

Use this if the showroom is intended for direct customer viewing and ordering.

Archive a showroom

If your showroom is collection-based (e.g., seasonal), you can archive it once the selling season is over.

Archiving a showroom will:

  • Hide it from all users

  • Prevent any further access

  • Allow you to keep your list of active showrooms clean and relevant

You can archive a showroom from the same Edit page.
