Introduction

This article explains how to create a new showroom in TRAEDE, including how to add drops, slides, products, and interactive showroom elements such as taggable images and video backgrounds.
You will also learn how to preview your showroom before publishing it.

To create a showroom, navigate to:
Sales → Showrooms

You will see an overview of all previously created showrooms.

1. Click Create

2. Enter a title for your showroom

   • Example: traede2025

3. Choose whether to:

   • Publish the showroom immediately

   • Auto-import products

4. Click Create

Your new showroom will appear in the list.
At this point, it is not public and neither agents nor customers have access.

Edit showroom settings

To adjust the content and structure of your new showroom:

1. Click More

2. Select Edit

Inside the edit page you can configure several options.

Add a drop to your showroom

If your showroom is based on a specific drop/collection, you can attach it:

• Scroll to the Drop field

• Select the drop you want to display

This is useful when showcasing seasonal or themed collections.

Add slides to the showroom

Slides allow you to build visual sections within your showroom.

You can:

• Add a full-page front slide

• Upload images to appear as header banners or intro pages

• Preview how they will display on both desktop and tablet

Example from an existing showroom

If you look at an existing showroom (e.g., Summer Collection 2020), you may see:

1. A front-page slide

A primary image displayed as the showroom introduction.

2. Image galleries

Multiple uploaded images that help build brand or collection storytelling.

3. Video backgrounds (new feature)

You can upload a video that loops in the background to create a dynamic visual experience.

4. Taggable images

This feature allows you to upload an image and place product markers on it.

• Each marker can be linked to a specific product

• Customers clicking the marker will be taken directly to the product page

• They can then add the item to their cart or selection

Add products manually

In addition to slides, you can manually add products to feature within your showroom.

• Scroll to the Products section

• Add items one by one if you want specific products highlighted

This helps control the exact assortment displayed.

Preview your showroom

At any time while building your showroom, click Preview (top right).

This opens the showroom so you can see exactly how it will look to customers, agents, or public viewers—before publishing it.
