If you for some reason want to cancel an open shipment on an order in Traede, this can be done in two ways. Either you can find the shipment on the order and cancel it there, or you can cancel the shipment in your fulfillment dashboard.
Cancel an open shipment on the order
- Find the specific order in the order list and click on the order number
- In the order overview, scroll down to the shipment/fulfillment section
- Find the specific shipment and click Cancel or the cross
- Confirm by clicking Yes, cancel it!
Cancel an open shipment in the fulfillment dashboard
- Navigate Fulfillment → Dashboard in the top menu
- Find the shipment you want to cancel
- Then click the cross for the shipment you want to cancel
- Confirm by clicking Yes, cancel it!
If you're using a 3PL (warehouse) to manage orders, make sure you notify them that the shipment should not be sent. The 3PL will NOT be notified automatically by canceling the order in Traede. The brand is responsible for this.
Cancel a fulfilled shipment
Canceling a fulfilled shipment can ONLY be done from the fulfillment page. We don't recommend canceling a fulfilled shipment unless there is no other way to correct the mistake. It's NOT possible to cancel an already invoiced shipment!
- Navigate Fulfillment → Shipments in the top menu
- Choose the Delivered tab
- Find the shipment you want to cancel
- Click on the cross for the shipment you want to cancel (make sure you have the cancel column visible - find it in the dropdown Columns)
- Confirm the cancelation by typing Delete in the text field
- Pick whether you want to open the shipment for picking again or cancel it completely
