Introduction
This guide explains how to set up B2C payment synchronization between TRAEDE and e-conomic. Once enabled, TRAEDE will send B2C payment entries from your Shopify orders directly into the correct accounts in e-conomic.
Before you begin, make sure your payment accounts are already created in e-conomic.
Prepare your payment accounts in e-conomic
Before configuring TRAEDE, you must create the accounts in e-conomic.
Most brands prefer one account per payment provider—for example:
MobilePay
QuickPay
Klarna
Shopify Payments
Manual payments
However, you can also group several providers into shared accounts if that suits your accounting structure.
Enable B2C payment syncing in TRAEDE
Go to App Store.
Select e-conomic.
At the top, open the Accounting tab.
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
Enable Sync B2C payments.
Once enabled, a list of payment gateways will appear.
Map Shopify payment gateways to e-conomic accounts
The list displayed contains all payment gateways provided by Shopify.
This list grows over time, so new gateways may appear later and must also be mapped.
For each gateway:
Open the drop-down next to the gateway name.
Select the corresponding e-conomic payment account.
Example:
Manual gateway → Payments: Manual
MobilePay → MobilePay account
QuickPay → QuickPay account
Repeat this for every gateway shown.
About gift cards
Gift cards follow a special accounting flow and must be handled separately.
See our dedicated guide: How gift card synchronization works.
Save your configuration
Once all gateways are mapped:
Scroll to the top of the page.
Click Save.
Your B2C payment synchronization is now active.
Important: Handling unmapped gateways
If a customer pays using a payment method you have not yet mapped:
TRAEDE will show an error
The order cannot sync to e-conomic until you assign an account to the new gateway
