Introduction

To ensure invoices synchronize correctly from TRAEDE to e-conomic, you must create three special products in e-conomic:

1. Shipping product

2. Handling fee product

3. Correction line product

These products allow TRAEDE to book shipping fees, handling fees, and small balancing adjustments generated by fixed-amount discounts.

This guide explains how to set them up and how to enter them into TRAEDE.

Step 1 — Create a shipping product in e-conomic

1. Go to Products → New product.

2. Enter a product number (example: SHIP).

3. Set the Product group to TRAEDE Shipping.

4. Name it Shipping.

5. Save the product.

Important:
If you already have a shipping product, simply change its product group to TRAEDE Shipping.

Step 2 — Create a handling fee product in e-conomic

1. Go to Products → New product.

2. Enter a product number (example: HFEE).

3. Set Product group to TRAEDE Shipping.

4. Name it Handling fee.

5. Save the product.

Step 3 — Create the correction line product

The correction line is a technical requirement. e-conomic only supports percentage-based discounts, and only with two decimals.
To ensure totals match exactly when TRAEDE sends fixed-amount discounts, a tiny adjustment line may be needed — usually 1–2 cents.

To create it:

1. Go to Products → New product.

2. Enter a product number (example: CORR).

3. Set Product group to your product group without VAT.

   • This is the group you created in the previous step of the setup guide.

4. Name it Correction line.

5. Save the product.

The correction line will only appear occasionally and always with a very small amount. It is purely technical.

Step 4 — Add the product numbers to TRAEDE

When your three product numbers are ready, enter them into TRAEDE.

1. Go to App Store → e-conomic → Accounting settings.

2. Locate these fields:

   • Shipping item number

   • Handling fee item number

   • Correction line item number

3. Enter the corresponding product numbers from e-conomic.

4. Click Save.

Summary

You must create three products in e-conomic to ensure shipping fees, handling fees, and discount adjustments are booked correctly:

• Shipping (product group: TRAEDE Shipping)

• Handling fee (product group: TRAEDE Shipping)

• Correction line (product group: No-VAT product group)

After creating them, add their item numbers to TRAEDE’s e-conomic settings.
