Introduction
This guide explains how to troubleshoot freight booking errors in TRAEDE when the error message clearly indicates what’s wrong—such as missing phone numbers or incomplete data. These errors come directly from the shipping carrier and can usually be solved directly inside TRAEDE.

Step 1: Identify the error message
Go to your shipment overview and look for errors under Shipments. You'll typically see a message like:
"Missing phone number" – This is a clear error indicating that a required field is empty.
"Service code is not available" – This is a more cryptic error. Use the other guide to handle this.
Step 2: Decide how to proceed
You have two options:

Cancel the label
Use this if you fixed the issue outside TRAEDE or don’t need the label.
Click Cancel label and remove to clear the shipment from the dashboard.

Fix the shipment in TRAEDE
Click the Error button next to the shipment.
You’ll be taken to the shipment edit screen.
Step 3: Correct the shipment information
In the edit view:
Enter the missing data, such as a phone number.
Click Fix and attempt to create label.
✅ TRAEDE will attempt to rebook the shipment through Webshipper.
Step 4: Confirm success
Once the label is successfully booked:
The shipment will disappear from the error dashboard.
No further action is required.
