Introduction

This guide explains how to add a B2B shipping method in TRAEDE when using Webshipper. It’s important to note that this method applies only to B2B shipping rates. You'll first set up the shipping rate in Webshipper, then connect it in TRAEDE using the correct settings and ID.

This article is for users managing B2B shipping integrations between TRAEDE and Webshipper.

Step 1: Create the shipping rate in Webshipper

1. Go to Webshipper and navigate to:

   • Settings > Order systems

2. Inside Order systems, find the system named TRAEDE (type: custom).

3. Here, you’ll see all your B2B shipping methods connected to TRAEDE.

4. Create your new shipping method (e.g., called Test).

💡 Make sure you’re creating a shipping rate under the correct order system – the one associated with TRAEDE.

Step 2: Find the shipping rate ID

1. Click on the shipping rate you just created in Webshipper.

2. In the browser address bar, look for the URL pattern:

   .../shipping_rates/<number>
   

3. Copy the second number after /shipping_rates/. This is the Shipping Rate ID.

🔎 Ignore the first number after /channels/ and use the one after /shipping_rates/.

Step 3: Create the shipping method in TRAEDE

1. Go to App store > Shipments in TRAEDE.

2. Click Shipping methods tab.

3. In the top-right corner, click Add shipping method.

4. Fill out the form as follows:

   • Label: Enter the same name as in Webshipper (e.g., Test)

   • Carrier: Select the carrier used (e.g., GLS)

   • Code type: Select Webshipper

   • Shipping rate ID: Paste the ID you copied earlier

   • Order types: Check all relevant zones (e.g., Domestic and EU)

5. Click Save.
