Introduction

This guide explains the test flow required before putting a System Transport integration into production. You must complete all steps in the correct order to ensure that System Transport receives your product data, test orders, and test deliveries successfully.

This guide is essential for any TRAEDE user preparing to go live with System Transport.

Step 1: Install the System Transport app

1. Open the App Store in TRAEDE.

2. Install the System Transport app.

3. If you already completed this in a previous video, you can mark the task as done.

Step 2: Send the article file (product data)

1. Before sending the article file, ensure all products have an item number.

2. Send the full article file to System Transport so they have your master product data.

3. Contact System Transport by email and inform them that the article file has been sent.

💡 The article file must include all products you plan to use during testing.

Step 3: Set up shipping methods

To send test orders to System Transport, you need to configure shipping methods that map correctly to System Transport.

1. Go to the Shipping methods setup.

2. Add the required System Transport methods.

3. Save your configuration.

Step 4: Create a test production order

1. Create a test production order containing the products you want System Transport to receive.

2. Send the production order to System Transport so they can simulate receiving goods at their warehouse.

3. Notify System Transport via email after sending the production order.

📝 This step gives System Transport inventory in their system, which they will later use for picking test orders.

Step 5: Create test orders

1. Create test sales orders using the same products included in your production order.

2. Send the test orders to System Transport.

3. Notify System Transport that the test orders have been submitted.

⚠️ It is essential that the test orders contain the same products used in the production order — otherwise System Transport will not have any stock to pick from.

Step 6: Communicate with System Transport

At each step, you must inform System Transport so they can verify the data:

• When the article file is sent

• When the production order is sent

• When test orders are sent

Clear communication ensures that System Transport can validate your setup and confirm when you are ready to go live.

Going live with System Transport

When all test steps are completed successfully:

• System Transport will notify you that you can move into production.

• No special configuration is required in TRAEDE — TRAEDE always sends data as if it were in production.

• Your integration is now fully ready for real orders and deliveries.
