Setup the flow

Introduction

This article explains how to configure the EDI integration flow settings in TRAEDE.
Before completing these steps, make sure all your products have the required data so the EDI integration can run without errors.
You will learn how to configure the consignment/sales flow, file types, and whether TRAEDE should identify your company using a GLN or VAT number.

Overview of EDI integration settings

Once your product data is complete, you can begin configuring the integration flow settings. Go through the following settings one by one.

Use consignment flow

Setting: “Use consignment flow”

  • Turn ON if MAGASIN is acting as a consignment location.

  • Turn OFF if MAGASIN is not handling consignment and instead purchases products from you directly.

If you are unsure whether MAGASIN uses consignment for your brand, check with your MAGASIN contact.

Send PRICAT SSC CSV file

Setting: “Send PRICAT SSC CSV file”

  • Fashion brands: usually leave OFF

  • Interior/furniture brands: may need this ON

To be certain, ask your MAGASIN concept contact whether they require the PRICAT SSC CSV file to be sent.

Use GLN as identifier

If you want TRAEDE to identify your company using a GLN number, activate this setting.

When to activate

Activate Use GLN as identifier if:

  • You have purchased a GLN number

  • MAGASIN created your integration account using your GLN

If this option is activated:

  1. Go to Settings → Addresses

  2. Open your primary address

  3. Ensure the GLN number is filled in

If the setting remains OFF, TRAEDE will instead identify you using your VAT (CVR) number.

If unsure which identifier MAGASIN is using, ask your MAGASIN contact:

  • If they say GLN → activate

  • If they say VAT → keep deactivated

Select file type

Setting: “File type”

Choose the file type based on the flow you are running:

  • Sales report → select if you are running a consignment flow

  • Orders → select if you are running a sales flow

Save your settings

Once all settings have been configured, click Save settings at the bottom of the page.

You are now ready to proceed to the next step in your EDI setup.
