Introduction
This guide walks you through the setup of the Ongoing WMS integration in TRAEDE. This integration enables seamless synchronization between your warehouse (or 3PL using Ongoing) and TRAEDE, including inventory sync, shipment handling, and production order management.
To complete the setup, you'll need credentials and configuration values from your warehouse or 3PL.
Step 1: Install the Ongoing app
In TRAEDE, go to App Store.
Find the Ongoing app and click on it.
Click Install.
Step 2: Enter API credentials and connection details
You will need to get the following from your Ongoing WMS administrator or 3PL:
Username & Password (API credentials)
API prefix (e.g.,
dmlproduction)Goods owner ID (numeric ID provided by the warehouse)
Fill in these fields accordingly.
đź”’ TRAEDE cannot generate these values. They must be provided by your WMS partner.
Step 3: Attribute mapping
Map product attributes used in TRAEDE to Ongoing:
Size, Color, Country of Origin, Composition, Tariff codes
Optional: Set the Order reference field if customers use custom order numbers
Step 4: Set your inventory location
Select the correct inventory location used for stock in Ongoing.
Leave the Custom XML field blank unless instructed by TRAEDE support.
Step 5: Enable synchronization features
Once you're ready to go live:
Enable Send shipments to WMS
Enable Send production orders to WMS (only if your warehouse supports this)
Enable Import inventory from Ongoing WMS
⚠️ Only activate this after confirming inventory is correct in Ongoing.
Once enabled, TRAEDE will overwrite inventory each night with Ongoing’s data.
Step 6: Set date filters for completed orders
To avoid importing old data:
Enter a start date and time for:
Completed shipments
Completed production orders
Format:
YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SSExample:
2025-11-25 00:00:00
This ensures only new completions are imported from Ongoing to TRAEDE.
Once these settings are saved, your integration will be live. TRAEDE will begin syncing data with Ongoing based on the enabled options and selected timeframes.
