How it works and what we sync

Introduction

This guide provides a high-level overview of how the integration between TRAEDE and Midt Factoring functions. It explains how data and documents are transferred and the difference between invoice data and PDFs, as well as a note on handling prepayments.

This article is relevant for TRAEDE users setting up or managing their Midt Factoring integration.

1. Invoice and credit note data

When you create and book an invoice or credit note in TRAEDE:

  • TRAEDE sends the invoice data (date, due date, amount, currency, etc.) to e-conomic.

  • The invoice is attached to a specific layout associated with Midt Factoring.

  • Midt Factoring then pulls the invoice data from e-conomic based on the assigned layout.

This process allows Midt Factoring to identify which invoices are relevant for factoring.

2. Invoice PDFs

To ensure Midt Factoring sends the same PDF your customer received from TRAEDE:

  • Every night, TRAEDE sends the PDF versions of all relevant invoices to Midt Factoring.

  • This ensures that if Midt Factoring resends an invoice to a customer, it uses the exact same layout the customer originally received.

📌 The invoice data and invoice PDF are two separate but equally important parts of the integration.

3. Prepayments (optional)

In most cases, prepayments are not handled through Midt Factoring. Instead, the brand manages them directly.

However, if you choose to run prepayments via Midt Factoring:

  • You can book the prepayment as an invoice inside TRAEDE.

  • That invoice will flow through the normal sync process:

    • Sent to e-conomic with the correct layout

    • Pulled by Midt Factoring

    • PDF also synced

⚠️ Be cautious—this setup is rare. Make sure this is intentional before enabling it.

Summary of synchronization flow
