Filtering the report

  • Updated

Introduction

This article explains how to use filters in the TRAEDE Revenue report. Filters allow you to narrow the dataset, focus on specific products, drops, categories, countries, or order types, and speed up report generation. This makes it easier to analyse only the information relevant to your goals.

Example setup

In this example, we start with a simple report:

  • Row: Products

  • Column: Drops

  • Measurement: Total quantity (or any measurement you choose)

Filter by drop

If you only want to see results for a specific drop—for example AW21:

  1. Open the Filters panel.

  2. Select the Drop filter.

  3. Choose AW21.

  4. Click Generate.

The report will now only show data for AW21, and all other drops will be hidden.

Using filters after adding row groups

If you add a row section—such as Top category—you can filter the report further.

Example:
You grouped results by category and now want to view only Interior design.

  1. Open the Category filter.

  2. Select Interior design.

  3. Click Generate.

Only products belonging to that category will remain visible.

Note: If a drop does not contain a product from this category, the drop column will disappear (because there is no relevant data).

Filtering on dimensions not displayed

You can filter by dimensions that are not part of your report layout.

Example:
Filter by Country even if the report does not show country as a row or column.

  1. Open Country of delivery.

  2. Select Denmark.

  3. Generate the report.

Only data for orders delivered to Denmark will be shown.

Filter by order type

You can limit the report to specific order types:

  • B2B orders

  • POS orders

  • B2C orders

Example:
If you only want to see B2B revenue:

  1. Remove POS and B2C from the filter.

  2. Click Generate.

The report now only contains B2B invoices.

Filtering by date

The Date range filter is one of the most important, especially for performance.

Key rules

  • You may enter only a start date → TRAEDE shows everything from that date forward.

  • You may enter only an end date → Not allowed. If you set an end date, you must set a start date.

  • Filtering by date improves report speed and reduces unnecessary calculations.

Example:

Start date: 01-06
End date: 01-09

TRAEDE will only include invoices within this period.

Summary

Filters allow you to:

  • Focus on specific seasons and drops

  • Analyse categories or countries

  • Limit by order type

  • Improve calculation speed by filtering date ranges

  • Combine multiple filters for highly targeted analysis
