Introduction
This guide explains how to use the Quick add order feature in TRAEDE to create production orders from Excel files. You can use this tool to generate a single production order or multiple production orders at once, making it especially useful when working with larger assortments or repeated workflows.
Create a single production order with simple Excel import
Go to Production → Quick add order.
Select Simple Excel import.
This option creates one production order from your Excel sheet.
Click Download template to get the correct Excel format.
Fill out the Excel template by adding:
SKU (e.g.,
cool product - series 1 - user 1)Quantity per line (e.g.,
10)
You do not need to convert the file to CSV. Save the Excel file normally.
Upload the file using drag-and-drop or by clicking Browse.
Click Create production order.
A new production order will be created automatically.
Opening it will show the products with the quantities you entered.
Create multiple production orders using Multi without deliveries
If you want to generate several production orders from one Excel sheet:
Go to Quick add order.
Select Multi without deliveries.
Click Download template.
This template requires the supplier number.
To find a supplier number, open the supplier in TRAEDE and locate its ID.
Complete the Excel template
In the sheet, fill out:

Save the file (no CSV conversion needed).
Upload your file.
Click Create production order.
TRAEDE will now generate two new production orders, each containing the products grouped by batch.
