Introduction
This guide explains how to create a production order in TRAEDE based on existing sales orders. This workflow is commonly used when many customers have pre-ordered products, and you want to generate a corresponding production order using those sales orders as the source.
Add products from sales orders
Open your production order and go to the Products tab.
At the top of the page, click Orders.
You will now see a list of all sales orders containing products from the selected supplier.
Filter the relevant sales orders
Use the search and filtering options to select the specific drops or collections you want to include (e.g., AW21 Drop 1 and AW21 Drop 2).
Mark all relevant sales orders.
Click Save orders to attach them to the production order.
Insert screenshot of filtering and selecting orders
Once saved, the attached orders will appear in the list on the right-hand side of the screen. You can click each sales order to open it inside TRAEDE.
Review the aggregated ordered quantities
After attaching the sales orders, the system will show all product variants that must be delivered by this supplier.
A new column, Ordered, appears. This column shows how many pieces of each variant have been ordered across all attached sales orders.
Example:
If the variant Abigail – XS has been ordered three times across the selected sales orders, the Ordered column will show 3.
Copy ordered quantities to the production order
To create your production order quickly:
Click Copy order quantities at the top.
This moves all values from the Ordered column into the Quantity column, creating a production order that fully covers customer demand.
Adjust quantities for your own inventory
If you want to buy additional units for stock:
Adjust the quantities manually in the Quantity column.
When you increase quantities beyond what is ordered, the In stock column will turn green.
This indicates how many pieces will go to your own inventory after fulfilling customer orders.
Example: If customers ordered 2 pieces but you enter 4 in Quantity, the In stock column will show +2.
Save the production order
Once all quantities are correct, click Save.
Your production order based on sales orders is now created.
