Introduction
This guide explains how to update the cost price on all open production orders in TRAEDE when a product's cost changes. Instead of updating each order manually, TRAEDE allows you to push the new cost price across all relevant production orders with just one click.
This is ideal for buyers and production managers who frequently deal with fluctuating supplier costs, shipping, or customs fees.
Step 1: Identify the incorrect price
Go to an open production order.
Review the cost price of your product(s).
If the price is incorrect, note the SKU or product you need to update.
Step 2: Update the product cost
Navigate to the Product card for the item.
Update the Cost price field to the correct value.
For example:
Base cost: €110
Customs: €12
Shipping: included
Step 3: Push the update to all open production orders
After editing the cost, go to the top right corner of the product card.
Click Update production order prices.
This will apply the new cost price to all open production orders containing this product.
✅ This step saves you from manually editing each production order individually.
Step 4: Verify the updates
Go back to your production order.
Refresh the page.
Scroll down to confirm the updated cost price is now reflected (e.g., €110).
🔄 All cost price updates will apply to open production orders only. Closed or completed orders remain unchanged.
