Introduction
This guide shows an alternative and easier way to create a production order from sales orders by using filters instead of manually selecting each order. This method saves time and ensures your production order always reflects sales orders that match the defined criteria.
This guide is recommended for users who frequently create production orders based on sales patterns or order drops.
Step 1: Define your sales order filters
Go to Production orders.
Create a new production order.
Instead of selecting individual sales orders, apply filters that match the sales orders you want to include.
Example filters: drops, seasons, tags, etc.
🔎 This method links the matching sales orders to your production order — no need to manually choose them.
Step 2: Attach products from matched orders
After applying your filters, scroll down and click Attach products from orders.
TRAEDE will now pull in all products from the sales orders that match your filter.
🟡 You must click this button manually every time you want TRAEDE to update the product list from the filtered orders. It does not auto-update.
Step 3: Copy auto quantities
Once products are attached, click Copy auto quantities.
This will auto-fill the quantities needed based on the linked sales orders — just like the manual method shown in the previous video.
✅ This approach gives you the same end result as manually selecting sales orders but with less work and easier updates.
