Receiving a production order delivery in own warehouse

Introduction

This guide explains how to receive a production delivery note in TRAEDE when you are using your own warehouse or when your 3PL is not integrated with TRAEDE.
Receiving a delivery note simply means adding the quantities from the delivery into your inventory based on what physically arrived.

 

 

Open the delivery note

  1. Open your production order.

  2. Locate the delivery note you want to receive.

    • If multiple deliveries exist, choose the one that has now arrived at your warehouse.

  3. Click the delivery to open the delivery note.


Count and adjust the received quantities

The quantities listed in the delivery note may differ from what you physically received.

  1. Review each variant on the delivery.

  2. Update the received quantity to match what actually arrived.

    • Example: If the note says 8 pcs but you only received 7, change the value to 7.

    • If you received more than listed, update the number accordingly.

  3. Click Save to confirm your corrections.


Receive the delivery

Once all quantities match what was actually received:

  1. Click Receive in the top-right corner.

  2. The items will be added to your TRAEDE inventory.

  3. The status of the delivery changes from Sent to Received.

Important:
Receiving a delivery cannot be undone. Make sure all numbers are correct before confirming.


Confirm the production order status

  1. Return to the production order.

  2. It will now show the updated status—for example, Fully received if all deliveries are completed.


Verify that stock was updated

To ensure your items were added to inventory:

  1. Go to Inventory list.

  2. Search for the SKU or item number.

  3. Open the Changes tab to see the movement record.

    • Example: “Received 28 pcs on Production delivery note 324-2”.
