Sales prices

Introduction

This article explains how to create and update product prices in TRAEDE using the product importer. You can add multiple currencies, update wholesale and recommended retail prices (RRP), and perform bulk price changes using Excel. The importer allows flexible column naming and supports updating only the fields you choose.

Working with prices in TRAEDE

Where prices are located

On each product:

  1. Open the product.

  2. Go to Sales prices.

  3. You will see:

    • Wholesale price (WHS)

    • Recommended retail price (RRP)

These two fields map directly to corresponding columns in the product importer.

Creating your price import file

Column names

You can name your price columns anything you want. Column headers do not have to match TRAEDE’s internal naming.

Examples of valid column names:

  • sales price DKK

  • RRP US

  • wholesale EUR

  • Price_NOR

During import, you simply map each column to the correct TRAEDE price field.

Adding multiple currencies

You can add as many price columns as needed, for example:

  • Wholesale DKK

  • RRP DKK

  • Wholesale USD

  • RRP USD

  • Wholesale NOK

Just add each as a separate column.

If a currency has no RRP, you can leave that column out.

Filling in prices

Entering values

Add the prices directly into your spreadsheet.

Example:

Item numberSKUWHS DKKRRP DKKWHS USD
10011001-S257530

You can use Excel formulas to fill down or calculate multiple prices quickly.

Decimal formatting

Important:
To import decimals correctly, TRAEDE requires dot notation, not comma.

Correct:
150.75

Incorrect:
150,75

If commas are used, the importer will not read the price correctly.

Updating existing prices

Example: Increase all prices by 10%

You can export your products, calculate new prices, and re-import them.

  1. Export your product data from TRAEDE.

  2. Add a new column, e.g. New sales price DKK.

  3. Use a formula such as:

    = [old price column] * 1.10

  4. Drag the formula down to update all rows.

  5. Map New sales price DKK to the correct price field during import.

This is useful for seasonal price updates or exchange rate adjustments.

Import the file

  1. Go to Settings → Import → Product importer.

  2. Upload your file.

  3. Map each price column to the correct TRAEDE field.

  4. Run the import.

Only the prices you include will be updated—everything else remains unchanged.
