Introduction
After uploading your product images to TRAEDE, the next step is to match them to the correct products and variants. This guide shows how to use naming conventions and settings to automate the matching process before completing the image import.
Step 1: Start matching images to products
Once your image import status is Downloaded, open the import.
Click Match images to products at the top.
TRAEDE will begin analyzing file names and attempt to match them to products.
You’ll now see:
A list of matched products
A warning if any files did not match to a variant
Step 2: Configure attribute-based matching
If images aren't matching to variants, you may need to configure attribute-based matching.
At the top of the import page, locate the setting: Attribute match name.

Select the product attribute you used in the image filenames (e.g.
Color).TRAEDE will now try to match the attribute value (e.g.
Black,Beige) to the filename.
Click Re-match images to run the new matching rule.
Step 3: Review and verify matches
After re-matching, refresh the page.

You’ll see updated counts of:
Matched products
Matched variants
Any files that still did not match
Expand the tables to double-check that the right images are matched to the correct variants.
If an image didn’t match due to incorrect naming (e.g. typo like black2k instead of black):
Click the file name to rename it directly in the importer.
Then click Re-match images again.
