Exporting to Excel Order Sheet and Importing again

Introduction

Exporting orders allows you to generate an order sheet in Excel format, which can then be filled out and imported back into Traede.

Steps to Export an Order:

  1. Select an Order:

    • Locate and open the order you want to export.

  2. Export to Order Sheet:

    • Click Export to Order Sheet (Excel)

    • The system will generate an Excel sheet and email it to you once completed.

  3. Review the Order Sheet:

    • Open the downloaded Excel sheet.

    • Verify that all products and their respective quantities match the original order.

    • The sheet includes:

      • Products (Product details and quantities).

      • Product Data (Additional product information like images and prices).

      • Meta (System-generated data for re-import, do not edit)

Steps to Import an Order Sheet:

  1. Fill in the Order Sheet:

    • Edit only the relevant fields (e.g., updating product quantities).

    • Do not modify the Meta Sheet.

  2. Upload the Order Sheet:

    • Navigate to More Actions and select Update with Order Sheet

    • Select the updated Excel file from your computer.

  3. Confirm the Update:

    • Click Update.

    • The system will update the order with the new quantities.

  4. Verify the Changes:

    • Check the order to ensure that all modifications have been applied.

    • The Order Timeline records all updates for future reference.


Additional Notes

  • Always ensure that the correct products are selected before splitting, merging, updating order prices, or exporting/importing orders.

  • The Order Timeline records all changes made to any order.

  • Labels and descriptions can help organize orders effectively within Traede.

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage orders in Traede by splitting, merging, updating, and exporting/importing them as needed.
