Introduction
This guide explains how invoice and delivery addresses work on orders in TRAEDE, and how to manage custom addresses when needed.
Key Concepts
1. Linked (Shared) Addresses
By default, orders use shared addresses linked to the customer card. These appear with a dropdown field.
Changes to these addresses will affect all orders using the same address.
Useful when you want consistent billing/shipping information across all orders for a customer.
Example:
If you update the delivery address for one order, all orders using the same address will also be updated.
2. Custom Addresses
You can override shared addresses with custom addresses for individual orders.
Useful for:
One-off shipments (e.g. influencers, temporary locations)
Avoiding unnecessary address clutter on the customer card
To set a custom address:
Click the dropdown next to the delivery or invoice address.
Select “Use custom address”
Enter the new address and click Save
Once set:
The dropdown disappears.
The address is now unique to this order.
It won’t affect other orders or customer data.
3. Switching Back to Shared Address
If you want to revert from a custom address:
Click the address field dropdown.
Choose “Remove custom address” to re-link to a shared address.
Additional Notes
Invoice and delivery addresses are managed independently.
You can have a custom delivery address and a shared invoice address on the same order (or vice versa).
Timeline Log:
All address changes are tracked in the order timeline. You’ll see:Who made the change
