How to setup TRAEDE for Intrastat reports

  • Updated

Introduction

Intrastat reports are mandatory reports used by tax authorities to monitor the movement of goods within the EU. In TRAEDE, you can generate these reports directly from your system to comply with reporting requirements. This guide explains how to configure your account to enable Intrastat reporting.

💡 TRAEDE supports both the Intrastat report and the EU sales (XBVHT) report. They serve different purposes and are often submitted together.

How to configure your Intrastat setup

  1. Go to Settings → Sales settings.

  2. Scroll down to the Intrastat configuration section.

  3. Locate these two fields:

    • HS tariff code field – Select the custom field where you store HS codes for your products.

    • Country of origin field – Select the custom field where you store the country of origin for your products.

  4. Optional: Enable Include purchases if your company is required to report incoming goods as part of Intrastat.

This depends on your country’s threshold. Consult your local tax authority to determine if you’re required to report purchases.

  5. Click Save.

Summary

  • Set HS tariff and country of origin fields under Sales settings.

  • Enable Include purchases if required by your tax authority.

  • Once set up, you can generate Intrastat reports automatically.
