This guide explains how to set up inventory indicator colors (also referred to as the "traffic light") in TRAEDE. These colors help visually represent stock levels to your customers in the B2B webshop.
This feature is helpful for giving customers a quick overview of product availability without showing the exact number of items in stock.
Step 1: Go to inventory settings
From the TRAEDE home screen, go to Settings.
Under Settings, select Inventory settings.
Step 2: Enable inventory quantity display
Make sure the checkbox to allow customers to see inventory quantity is enabled.
This step ensures the indicator colors are shown in the B2B webshop.
Step 3: Set up your inventory indicator rules
Scroll to the bottom of the page until you see the Inventory indicators section.
Click Add new rule to define your stock levels and corresponding color indicators.
Example setup:
0–0 units = Out of stock → Color: Red
1–10 units = Low stock → Color: Yellow
11–100+ units = In stock → Color: Green
Repeat this process for each stock level you want to define.
Step 4: Save your settings
Once you've added all your desired indicator rules, scroll up and click Save to apply the changes.
Step 5: View in the B2B webshop
Go to your B2B webshop.
Open a product page.
You will now see the corresponding indicator (e.g., red/yellow/green) based on your setup.
Note: Customers will not see the exact inventory number unless that setting is specifically enabled — they will only see the stock level status based on your indicator labels.
