New and improved

🧾 Credit notes: combine lines from multiple invoices

A long-standing wish is now live. When creating a credit note, you can gather invoice lines from several different invoices onto a single credit note, straight from the UI. You can also mix invoice lines with manual credit note lines, and it all works in the return module when creating B2B returns.

Watch a quick demo video here.

Two more crediting upgrades ship alongside it:

  • Assortments can now be credited partially, so a few returned pieces no longer require a manual credit note
  • Credit notes now include a fulfillment tree like the one on orders, showing all attached invoices with their shipments and orders at a glance

🔢 SKU generator: create SKUs automatically

Entering product data just got easier. Alongside the item number generator, TRAEDE now has an SKU generator. You choose whether the “variant part” of the SKU is built from variant attributes or attribute codes.

  • Works in the importer as well as the UI
  • If you choose attribute codes, TRAEDE will ask for codes when you create new products, both in the importer and in the UI

To make getting started even smoother, all new TRAEDE accounts now come pre-installed with an item number generator starting at 1000 and an SKU generator using item number plus variant attributes.

🧾 Consolidated invoices: automatic sending and auto-close

Consolidated invoices got a round of upgrades that cut down on manual follow-up:

  • Settings have moved out of sales settings and into their own dedicated settings page
  • Email settings now cover consolidated invoices, so a consolidated invoice can be sent automatically when you close it
  • New auto-close rules let consolidated invoices close automatically at a time you define. The auto-close time is also shown in the consolidated invoice list
  • Need to keep one open? Deactivate auto-close for a single consolidated invoice with a click in the list

🏷️ Custom Fields: bulk updates and bulk option creation

Working with Custom Fields at scale is now much faster:

  • In the products list you can bulk update Custom Fields across many products at once, on both product level and variant level. No more editing one product at a time
  • Adding many options to a Custom Field is faster too. Paste or type one option per line, choose between four delimiters, and provide either a value or a value-label pair per line. Live indicators show how many lines will be inserted, how many are duplicates and how many are invalid

🚀 Launch events V2: rebuilt for big events

Launch events got a complete makeover. The new version can be activated for you by support@traede.com and brings a long list of improvements:

  • A new UI that performs well even for big launch events, so you no longer need to split them into smaller ones
  • Saving more than 100 discounts now runs as a background job
  • Create discounts matching product or variant Custom Fields
  • Search for specific products directly in the table
  • Running launch events are no longer locked: you can change the end date, add products, and remove products while the event is live
  • B2B/B2C toggles to show or hide each channel
  • Clone an existing launch event instead of building it again from scratch

🔌 Four new integrations

TRAEDE now connects to four new systems:

  • Hive (3PL fulfillment): daily stock sync keeps inventory up to date, orders are sent to Hive automatically, tracking numbers flow back and on to Shopify, and B2B orders can ship as parcel or pallet
  • PowerOffice Go (Norwegian accounting): booked invoices and credit notes post to PowerOffice automatically, payment status flows back so invoices are marked as paid in TRAEDE, and customers and balances sync both ways
  • Nordea Factoring: booked B2B invoices and credit notes for factoring customers are bundled into Nordea's customer file, invoice file and a journal PDF, and emailed to Nordea automatically every night
  • Emma Systems (customs declarations): brands operating out of a bonded warehouse can have TRAEDE send customs declarations to Emma Systems automatically over SFTP.

All four are set up in the App Store. Reach out if you would like help getting started.

📦 Sales orders: estimated warehouse ready date

Sales orders now display an estimated warehouse ready date, a prediction of when the order is ready to be sent by the warehouse. Click the date to see a detailed breakdown of which order lines are ready by which date. The estimate is based on the last order line becoming ready, and a warning is shown if the order contains unallocated lines that are not included in the estimate. Available for brands on reservations v4.

🔢 Amounts now use 2 decimals on new sales documents

All new sales documents (sales orders, invoices, credit notes, shipments, shipment delivery notes and prepayments) now store amounts with 2 decimals instead of 4. This aligns TRAEDE with accounting systems, Shopify and EHF, and removes a long-standing source of small rounding differences. Existing documents created with 4 decimals keep 4 decimals, so the change only applies to new documents. If you spot unexpected amount differences, let us know.

🆔 Customers: organization number is now a built-in field

In Sweden and Norway the organization number matters, and it is not quite the same as the VAT number. It is now a standard field on customers. As a bonus, for SE and NO customers TRAEDE fills in the organization number automatically when you enter a VAT number, and vice versa. Existing organization number Custom Fields have already been migrated to the new field.

📄 Linesheets: show price list currencies

Linesheets can now include price list currencies as individual pricing. On the Linesheet edit screen, use the “Specific currencies” dropdown to pick a price list currency, and it will appear after the normal currencies. Only price list currencies with actual prices are available, and each one is labelled as “currency (price list name)” so it is easy to tell apart.

🛍️ Shopify: attribute sort order now syncs

Shopify now syncs changed product attribute ordering. If you use custom sort on an attribute, for example Size, the sort order is updated on all products in Shopify the next time they sync. Handy as you add more sizes or in-between sizes, which no longer need manual reordering in Shopify. You still need to trigger the product push to Shopify.

✉️ Bulk customer invites: better visibility and higher volume

Bulk customer invites now run on the newer bulk email system, the same one used for bulk order confirmations. You get a clearer view of what is about to be sent, and because invites are processed as a background job you can send more invitations at a time.

🧮 Fortnox: product-specific accounts

You can now use product-specific accounts for Fortnox. Enter just an item number to override the account for an entire product, or use a SKU to target a specific variant. You never need to fill in both.

🔁 Returns: same variant exchanges respect inventory

When registering a same variant exchange, the option is now disabled and shown as sold out if the variant is out of stock, so you no longer risk exchanging into items you cannot deliver.

🚫 Cancel production order delivery notes

You can now cancel a production order delivery note. This matters most when you unreceive a delivery note: because it has inventory changes it cannot be deleted, and until now there was no way to get rid of it. Cancelling solves that.

📤 Replenishment settings export now includes EAN

The Excel file from Products → Actions → Export replenishment settings now has an EAN column, placed right after Color/SKU. The column is filled whenever a row clearly points at a single variant: products with just one variant, and per-variant rows. Rows that cover several variants are left blank, because no single EAN would be correct. Re-importing the file works exactly as before, as the EAN column is simply ignored.

🏭 Warehouse: inventory changes show sub user

Inventory changes now show which sub user made the change, giving you a clearer audit trail in the warehouse. This requires a refresh of the warehouse scanner, so it may take a few days before it shows up consistently.

👥 Cleaner lists: active and inactive tabs

Two lists got easier to navigate. User settings now have “Active” and “Inactive” tabs with a user count on each, so it is easier to keep an overview when you have many users. Shipping methods in the App Store are split into the same two tabs, so you can find the method you need without scrolling through one long mixed list.
