When a launch event covers many products or currencies, editing every discount in the table gets slow. Instead, export the event to Excel, fill in the discounts in the spreadsheet, and import it back.
Exporting the event
- Open the event from Products → Launch events.
- Save any unsaved changes — the export button is disabled while you have pending changes.
- Click Export to Excel. A file named Launch event [title].xlsx is downloaded with one row per discount.
Understanding the sheet
The first columns identify what each row targets:

| Product group / drop / category / collection | The name of the group being targeted. Must match the name in Traede exactly. Empty for product rows. |
| Item number | The product's item number. Only used for product rows. |
| Product mode | For product rows: Product (one row for the whole product), Color (one row per color), or Variant (one row per SKU). |
| Color / SKU | The color name or SKU the row applies to, when the product mode is Color or Variant. |
| Custom field values | The matched values for custom field rows. |
After the identity columns come four value columns per currency: B2B Discount %, B2B Price, B2C Discount %, and B2C Price. Fill in either the discount percentage or the fixed sale price — if both are filled in, the price is used. Leave both empty to keep that channel and currency unchanged.
Editing the sheet
- Change discounts by editing the percentage and price columns on existing rows.
- Add products or groups by adding new rows. Fill in the identity columns using the values described above — names and item numbers must match what exists in Traede.
- Remove discounts by deleting their rows. The import mirrors the file, so anything missing from the sheet is removed from the event.
- Keep the header row and the identity columns of existing rows unchanged.
Important: The import replaces the event's discount setup with the contents of the file. Only delete rows you actually want removed from the event.
Importing the sheet
- Back on the event page, save any pending changes — the import button is disabled while you have unsaved changes.
- Click Import from Excel.
- In the Excel file field, upload your edited sheet.
- Click Import. The discount table updates to match the file.
If a row references a product, group, or name that cannot be found, the import reports an error telling you which row to fix.
