ShipBob is a third-party logistics (3PL) provider. The Traede integration syncs products, shipments, and inventory between Traede and your ShipBob warehouses. Return handling and full production order support are not available yet, as shown on the app home.
Before you start
- You need a ShipBob account and permission to create tokens in ShipBob.
- Install the app from App Store → ShipBob in the left menu, or open App Store and choose the ShipBob app.
Install the app
- Go to App Store → ShipBob.
- Open the Install tab.
- In ShipBob, create a Personal Access Token (PAT). The install screen links to ShipBob’s token page: Integrations → token management.
- Paste the token into Access Token and click Install.
Tip: The access token is sensitive. Treat it like a password and do not share it.
Configuration and sync options
After installation, open the Settings tab.
Channel
Select the Channel that Traede should use for ShipBob. This field is required. The list comes from your ShipBob account.
Inventory location mapping
Traede only syncs inventory for locations you map here, so stock is not sent to the wrong place. For each row, pick a Traede Inventory Location and the matching ShipBob Fulfillment Center. Click Add mapping to add more pairs.

Sync options

Click Save settings to apply changes.
Push products to ShipBob
- Open the Actions tab.
- Click Push all products to ShipBob.
When the job starts, you can follow progress under App Store → Document exchange in the left menu, if that item is available for your user.
Warning: The product push can and will overwrite exisitng data so do not use it without confirming with the customer. It can also convert product to and from Bundles based on the Traede product type.
Shipments: ShipBob as a shipping method type
To use ShipBob when booking or configuring shipping in Traede’s Shipments app, go to App Store → Shipments and edit or create a shipping method. Set the code type to ShipBob, then select a ShipBob shipping method from the list (methods come from your ShipBob account).
For B2B-related methods, you may need Shipbob B2B shipping terms: carrier_type:payment_term where carrier_type is Parcel or Freight, and payment_term is Collect, ThirdParty, Prepaid, or MerchantResponsible. Example: Parcel:Prepaid.
Uninstall
Under Settings, scroll to Danger Zone. Click Uninstall ShipBob only if you intend to remove the integration from Traede. This does not delete data in ShipBob.
