How to change the background image on your return portal

Introduction

This guide shows you how to change or upload a background image on your return portal in TRAEDE. This allows you to personalize your portal’s look to better match your branding.

🖼️ Best image size: For the best results, we recommend using an image size of 1300x1700 pixels.

📝 Step-by-step guide
 

1. Go to the return portal settings

  • From the TRAEDE dashboard, go to Settings in the left-hand menu.

  • Select Return portals.
     

2. Select the portal

  • Find the return portal you want to edit.

  • Click Edit next to the portal.
     

3. Scroll to the styling section

  • Scroll down until you see the section labeled Styling.

  • Under this, locate the Background image setting.

 

4. Upload a new background image

  • Click Add image.

  • Either drag and drop your image into the window, or click Browse to upload it from your computer.

📐 Tip: For optimal display, your background image should be 1300x1700 pixels.
 

5. Set and save the background image

  • Once the upload is completed, click Change background image.

  • Then click Save to apply your changes.

 

You should now see your new image as the background of your return portal.
