  • Updated

Introduction

The "Decrease Reserve for B2C on Sale" setting allows you to automatically reduce the "Reserve for B2C" quantity when a B2C sale is made through Shopify.

If it's not activated on your account, you can manually enable it in the Inventory Settings

How to enable the setting

To activate this feature, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Inventory Settings
  2. Scroll down to the Regulations section
  3. Find the checkbox labeled "Decrease reserve for B2C on sale"
  4. Click the checkbox to enable it
  5. Click Save

Important notes

  • This feature only decreases "Reserve for B2C" when an order is imported from Shopify
  • "Reserve for B2C" will be decreased as soon as the order is imported from Shopify into TRAEDE. However, the actual stock regulation in TRAEDE will happen according to your settings for subtracting pieces from inventory.
    • For example, if your settings dictate that inventory is regulated when an invoice is made or when an order is placed, the actual stock adjustment will follow that rule.
  • If an order is canceled or edited, the quantity will NOT return to "Reserve for B2C". Instead, it will go back to In Stock.
  • If the order is not fulfilled from the regular In stock location when you process the order, then "Reserve for B2C" will still be decreased, but In Stock will not be adjusted. This will lead to a situation where "B2B Available" shows more inventory instead, as the "Reserve for B2C" has less reserved. Make sure to verify your fulfillment locations to prevent discrepancies in stock levels.
