Introduction
The top ranking report in TRAEDE gives you insights into your best-performing customers, products, categories, and more. You can use it to rank data based on invoices or orders over a selected time period. This guide walks you through how to generate and customize the report to fit your needs.
Where to find the report
You can access the report by navigating to:
Reports → Top ranking
How it works
The top ranking report allows you to generate ranked data by choosing specific parameters:
1. Basis for the report
Choose whether to base the report on:

Invoices
-
Orders
2. What to rank
Select the type of data you want to rank:

Customers
-
Products
-
Product categories
-
Countries
-
Subruns
3. Ranking criteria
You can rank data by:

Net revenue
-
Quantity
-
Cost
-
Margin
4. Filters (optional)
You can narrow the data by adding filters such as:

Product group
-
Customer group
-
Specific product
-
Specific drop
-
Specific customer
5. Date range
Set a start date and end date to define the timeframe for the ranking.
6. Number of rows
Choose how many rows to display:

Default is 50
-
You can change this to show only the top 10, top 100, etc.
7. Order types
Select which order types should be included in the report (e.g., B2B, B2C, etc.)
Example: top 10 customers by net revenue
To see your top 10 customers based on invoice revenue from this year:

Set Basis to: Invoice

Set What to rank to: Customers
-
Set Start date to: January 1st this year

Set End date to: Today’s date

Set Rows to: 10

Leave filters empty

Choose Order types as needed

Click Generate
You’ll now see a list of your top 10 customers, including metrics like:

Invoice total

Credit note

Total quantity

Net revenue
Example: top ranking products for B2B sales
To see the best-selling products for B2B orders over the past year:

Set Basis to: Invoice

Set What to rank to: Products

Select Order type: B2B

Choose your desired date range

Click Generate
The report will show products ranked by sales volume, revenue, or whichever metric you selected.
Exporting your results
In the top right corner of the report, click the Excel icon to export your report results as a spreadsheet.
