How to convert an order to a move order

  • Updated

Introduction

This guide explains how to convert an existing order into a move order in TRAEDE. Move orders are typically used for consignment customers, where products are delivered but not invoiced upfront. When converted, the order will apply a 100% discount, reflecting that the goods are moved—not sold.

Step 1: Open the order

  1. Go to Orders in TRAEDE.

  2. Find the order you want to convert.

In this example, order #1099 is for a consignment customer named Test Test.

  3. Open the order and ensure products have already been added.

Step 2: Convert to move order

  1. On the right-hand side, click More actions.

  2. Select Convert to move order.

  1. In the prompt:

    • Set the location to move the products to (e.g., the consignment customer location).

    • Leave the reason/comment empty (optional).

    • Click Yes, convert.

Step 3: Confirm the order has been converted

  • The order will now show:

    • 100% discount on unit prices

    • A label or tag indicating it is a move order

Step 4: Locate and fulfill the move order

  1. Go back to the Order list.

  2. The order will now display as a Move order under the order number.

This confirms the conversion was successful and the order is ready for shipment processing.
