To adjust the customer numbering settings in Traede, follow these steps:

Go to the Settings section and select "Sales Settings."

At the top of the page, you will find an input field where you can specify the desired number for the next customer.

If you have customers migrating from another system and want to maintain their numbering sequence, enter the next number in line here. This ensures that when you create a new customer, they will be assigned this number.

If you want the system to automatically generate customer numbers upon approval, select the option "Auto-generate customer numbers on approval." This allows the system to assign customer numbers once they have been created.

Click on "Save" to save the changes.
Additionally, you can configure the system to use the customers' VAT number as their customer number, overriding the customer start ID. This means that the VAT number will serve as the unique identifier for customers.
By adjusting these settings, you can control the customer numbering process in Traede and customize it according to your requirements.
