In this guide, we will explain how to configure automatic shipping costs in Traede.
To begin, follow these steps:
- Go to the “App store” section and click on “Shipping cost”. Install the app to complete the first step of setting up shipping costs in Traede.
- Once the app is installed, navigate to “Settings” and select “Add new rule”. The interface should resemble the following:
- Add the country for which you want to set up shipping costs. If you have multiple countries that require shipping costs, create separate rules by clicking “Add new rule”.
- Specify the “shipping cost” amount. Note that this value should be in the currency used by the country (e.g., Danish Kroner for Denmark). If you are unsure, refer to the guide on “Country settings” for assistance.
- Choose one of the following options:
-
- “Fixed amount”: This sets a constant shipping cost regardless of the order value, which remains unchanged.
- “Per colli”: The shipping cost is calculated based on the number of boxes shipped, determined by the order fulfillment. For example, if you ship 3 boxes, the price will be (Shipping cost x 3).
- “Percentage of value”: This option determines the shipping cost as a percentage of the order value. For instance, if you enter “10”, it means the shipping cost will be 10% of the order value.
- “Fixed amount”: This sets a constant shipping cost regardless of the order value, which remains unchanged.
- Determine whether the shipping cost should include VAT (Value Added Tax) or if it should be added separately.
- Lastly, you can specify if customers should receive free shipping for orders above a certain amount. This setting can be overridden for specific customers on their individual customer cards under “Master data”. You can also choose to provide free shipping to a specific customer at all times.
Follow these steps to successfully set up shipping costs in Traede.
