Introduction

Sometimes you want to have your credit notes return to a different inventory location. E.g. this could be if your returns are always returned at a different place, or if you want them at a return-processing location etc.

Override inventory location for one credit note

When you book a credit note in TRAEDE you have the option to override the inventory location for that specific credit note.

When you book a credit note select the location in the "Return products to different location" dropdown. This will return the products to that location

Set a default override location for future credit notes

If you open your Sales Settings find the dropdown named "Override credit note return inventory location". This will set a default value for all future credit notes
