If you need to credit an amount instead of a product, you can create a credit note in Traede.
Steps to Credit an Amount:

Go to Sales Invoice:

Navigate to the Sales Invoice section.

Click on Booked to find the invoice you need to credit.

Select the Invoice:

Locate the invoice to credit.

Click click on the button with the two arrows making a circle

Enter the Credit Amount:

In the Handling View field, enter the amount you wish to credit.

Ensure you add a minus (-) sign before the amount to indicate a credit.

Save as Open Credit Note:

Click Save as Open Credit Note.

Approve the Credit Note:

Once saved, approve the credit note, and the amount will be credited instead of the product.

How to Create a Manual Credit Note with a Handling Fee
If you need to manually create a credit note with a handling fee, follow these steps:

Go to Sales and Invoices:

Press Manual Credit Note in the top right corner.

Choose the customer and click Create Credit Note.

Edit the Handling Fee:

In the summary section, click the pen icon next to Handling Fee.

Enter the handling fee amount.

Book the Credit Note:

Click Book Credit Note to finalize the handling fee for the customer.
