Creating a production order

  • Updated

Introduction

This guide explains how to create a new production order in TRAEDE. You will learn how to select products, add quantities, upload quantities via Excel, and review the general production order information.

Start a new production order

  1. Go to ProductionProduction orders.

  2. In the top-right corner, click Start new production order.

  3. Select the supplier for the order.

  4. Click Start new production order.

Add products to the production order

  1. At the top of the production order overview, click the Products tab.

  2. You will now see a list of all products attached to the selected supplier.

    • If a product does not appear, open the product card and make sure the supplier is attached.

  3. Use the filters to search for products if needed.

  4. Click the product(s) you want to add.

  5. Click Save products.

When you scroll down, the selected product will now appear in the order.

Enter quantities

  1. In the Quantity fields, enter how many units you want to order per variant (e.g., 10 / 10 / 10 / 10).

  2. The In stock row below each variant shows current physical inventory.

  3. When you enter new quantities, the green numbers under In stock show how many pieces you are adding compared to what you already have in stock.

To save your changes, click Save changes at the bottom of the screen.

Add more products

You can continue adding products by returning to the Products tab, selecting additional items, and entering the quantities below.

Set quantities using Excel

If you want to update many products at once:

  1. In the top-right corner, click Set quantity by Excel.

  2. Upload an Excel sheet containing SKU and Quantity.

  3. TRAEDE will automatically apply the quantities to the matching variants.
