Install the Webshipper integration

  • Updated

This guide shows you how to install the Webshipper integration if you are going to send orders/shipments to Webshipper and fulfill them over there.

Use the following URL to create the webbook in Webshipper: https://api.traede.com/webhooks/webshipper/{brand-id}/new-shipment.

Remember to replace the {brand-id} with your own ID.

Introduction

This guide explains how to quickly set up the Webshipper integration in TRAEDE when you want to send shipments to Webshipper and then pick and fulfill them inside Webshipper. The guide covers how to create an API token, configure webhooks, and complete the integration settings inside TRAEDE.

This setup is ideal if you manage fulfillment in Webshipper and only use TRAEDE to push shipments and receive status updates.

Step 1: Generate your Webshipper API token

  1. In TRAEDE, go to App store > Webshipper.

  2. Click the Install tab.
You’ll need an access token from Webshipper to continue.

  3. Open your Webshipper account in a new tab.

  4. Navigate to Settings > Tokens.

  5. Click Create API token and configure:

    • Expiry: Set to Never (ugyldig)

    • Permissions: Click the top checkbox to select All

  6. Click Save

  7. Copy the token immediately – you will not be able to see it again!

Step 2: Install the integration in TRAEDE

  1. Paste the copied API token into the Access token field in TRAEDE.

  2. Make sure there are no spaces before or after the token.

Step 3: Create the webhook in Webshipper

This ensures Webshipper sends shipment status updates back to TRAEDE.

  1. In Webshipper, go to Settings > Webhooks

  2. Click Create webhook

  3. Use the following format for the URL:

    https://api.traede.com/webshipper/shipment_created/<brand_id>

Replace <brand_id> with your actual brand ID.

How to find your brand ID:

  • Open your B2B webshop in a new browser tab.

  • Look in the URL for a number after /shop/ (e.g., 1234) – that’s your brand ID.

  1. Under Subject, select shipment_created

  2. Enable both checkmarks

  3. Click Save

Step 4: Add webhook secret and complete installation

  1. After saving the webhook, you’ll see a secret token—copy it.

  2. Go back to TRAEDE and paste it into the Shipment created webhook secret field.

  3. Click Install.

Once installed, refresh the page to confirm that the integration is now active.

Step 5: Final configuration in TRAEDE

Add Webshipper domain

  1. In Webshipper, find your account URL, e.g.:

    https://yourdomain.webshipper.io

  2. Copy your domain (e.g., yourdomain) and paste it into the Webshipper domain field in TRAEDE.

Add order channel IDs

  1. In Webshipper, go to Connect

  2. Look for your TRAEDE order system (type: custom)

  3. Find the order channel ID at the end of the URL when editing the order system

    • e.g., .../channels/1 → Channel ID = 1

  4. Paste this value into the B2B order channel ID field

  5. Repeat for B2C (e.g. Shopify) if needed

Step 6: Map optional fields (recommended)

To ensure smooth customs handling:

  1. In TRAEDE, map the following fields:

    • Country of origin field

    • Tariff code field

These are found in the dropdowns in the integration settings.

Step 7: Configure fulfillment logic

If you're fulfilling shipments in Webshipper, do the following:

  • Uncheck the box for Create delivery notes

This tells TRAEDE not to fulfill shipments internally.

  • If you use a 3PL/external warehouse, make sure to uncheck that setting as well.

Step 8: Save your integration settings

Scroll to the bottom of the integration settings in TRAEDE and click Save.

Your Webshipper integration is now successfully configured for pushing shipments from TRAEDE and fulfilling them in Webshipper.
