How to add a discount to a product

This article explains how to add a discount to products in TRAEDE when creating an order. You will learn how to apply a discount to all variants of a product or only to specific lines. This guide is useful for sales agents and admins working with order creation in TRAEDE.

In TRAEDE, you can add a discount either to the entire product or to specific variants. Follow the steps below.

1. Start by creating a new order from the TRAEDE home screen.

2. Search for the product you want to add.

3. Click the shopping cart icon to add the product to your order.

4. Select the variants you want to add—for example, pink and yellow.

5. Enter the desired quantities.

6. Click on Unit price.

7. Enter the discount percentage—for example, 10%.

8. The discount will be applied to all selected variants of the product.

9. Click Save.

If you need to add a discount to only one of the product’s variants:

1. Click Lines.

2. Select the variant you want to discount, for example, only the pink variant.

3. Enter the discount percentage.

4. Click Change prices to apply the discount.

The selected variant will now show the discount, while the others remain unchanged.

If you later decide to add or change a discount, e.g., give 50% to the yellow variant:

1. Click Unit price again.

2. Add or adjust the discount.

3. Click Change prices, then Save.
